Monsters Chasing Children is a growing exhibit of paintings that display the odd, colorful, and sometimes, morbid imagination of a child. I would say that this series falls into the genre of folk art and most of these pieces remind me of illustrations from a children’s book.

All of the paintings here are dedicated to my first born and her wild imagination as a little one. Since this series was created I gave birth to a son. I’m already inspired by his spirit. So there will definitely be more to come.
