First original piece unboxed in the new place. Where will I hange it? It was in the dining room last time. Hmmm... maybe it needs a new destination.

There was a little bird that kept flying into the station. It made travelers jump from time to time and switch seats to avoid the flap and flutter of it's little wings. They looked at me funny because I was chasing it around qith my phone. Lol This is where it landed. I couldn't catch a pic of the bird but I tried my best to capture what it saw from this spot. 🐦

Hey art lovers! I was tempted to go black and white on this one but I wanted to share the full mood of this shot. This station is sparse and I was practically alone in it until 10 pm. However, I never felt creeped out once. I felt quite at home actually. Warm tones and curves.

Another fun one from yesterday's adventures. I can't wait to unpack my studio and start sharing new work with you all. But for now, this is feeding a few of my creative needs. Happy Monday!

Hey art lovers! It's been a minute since I've posted or painted. My family and I have just become residents of Winston-Salem NC. I am happy for this new adventure but in the midst of that our daughter's graduation happend back in Chicago and it was beautiful! I'm now on the way back home to NC with a pit stop in Toledo. I had to snap some shots of this beautiful gem of a station.

Good morning art lovers! Here's another attempt at becoming great with the pallet knife. 😋 I'm a long way from that goal but this is so much fun. This landscape is a work in progress, so I'll do a little more to it once it drys. I'll also be posting something I've painted using my brush really soon. Good night y'all.

Good afternoon art lovers! Here's the piece I worked on as my instructor piece for the paint session with my mother in law. So what's happening here is my attempt at making wrinkles in a cloth done with my pallet knife. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I don't hate it, but I definitely need to make another attempt. Btw the flowers were done with my brush before I had the knives.

Hey art lovers! I'm still at it with my pallet knives. 😊 I'm determined to get a good technique and I will. But for now I'm trying not to be so critical of myself as I learn. More to come. AVO nice day. 😋 🥑
